Get to Know Me
Before we ever talk houses, I'd love for you to know the person you'd be working with.
I'm a queer woman who has happily called Portland home for the last fifteen years. I met my wife six years ago during Covid in the very specific way people met during that time: from a little distance. I was outside, she was inside, and I couldn't stop looking at her through the window. I like to say I could see her aura from thirty feet away. Her friend eventually brought them outside, introduced us, and years later he officiated our wedding in Lucca, Italy.
We were married in a beautiful Tuscan villa surrounded by our closest family and friends. Later that evening, someone pointed out it was a full moon. We hadn't planned it that way, but it felt like a pretty special little coincidence.
Since then, we've built a life here with our Frenchie, Huckleberry, who is convinced every walk is an opportunity to make a new friend. You'll usually find the three of us wandering Portland's historic neighborhoods, exploring parks, or stopping for coffee somewhere along the way.
One of my favorite things about Portland is that every neighborhood feels like its own little world. Whether it's the quiet charm of Sellwood, the wide-open streets of Parkrose Heights, the river-town feel of St. Johns, the creative pockets of Alberta and Mississippi, or a tucked-away neighborhood most people have never explored, I love discovering what makes each place special. Even after all these years, I'm still finding new favorite corners of the city.
Before real estate, I earned my psychology degree from the University of Oregon and spent five years working in the nonprofit sector. I also had the opportunity to live in Vietnam and Indonesia for a year and a half, where I taught English and traveled to eight other countries. That chapter of my life taught me to be curious, adaptable, and open to different perspectives. Travel is still one of my greatest passions, and I hope it's something I never stop doing.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me snowboarding in the winter, hiking or snowshoeing in the mountains, spending time on the water whenever I can, or sharing a bottle of wine with friends in someone's backyard. I'm always on the hunt for Portland's best coffee and matcha, and Kendall and I keep a running list of our favorite spots that we're more than happy to share.
The experiences I've had, the places I've lived, and the people I've met have shaped the way I move through the world. I listen first. I believe there's always something to learn. I care deeply about the people around me. And when someone I care about needs an advocate, I don't hesitate to step up.
The little moments are what make a place feel like home. A neighborhood café that knows your order. A favorite trail. Evenings spent with friends. A dog who insists on saying hello to everyone on the block. Those are the things I love most about Portland, and they're a big part of why helping people build a life here means so much to me.
